Plus the surrounding Berkshire area. This is not an exhaustive list — if you are just outside it, put your postcode in anyway and we will tell you straight away rather than leave you guessing.
Why we only cover one city
Because the useful part of a quote is local. Reading housing is mostly Victorian terraces, interwar semis, and a lot of modern estate housing, with clay and concrete tile, with slate on the older terraces. Reading's newer estates often come with roof-mounted obstructions and small dormers, so a site-specific layout matters more than a headline system size. An installer who works here every week already knows that; one covering half the country does not.
What happens if I am just outside
Send the enquiry anyway. Installer coverage does not stop neatly at a boundary, and if nobody we work with covers you we will say so rather than pass your details to someone who will not turn up.
Grid connection in this area
Domestic systems here are notified to Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks. Most are handled after installation under G98; larger systems, or areas where the local network is already constrained, need a G99 application and approval first. Your installer deals with this either way — it is worth asking which route applies before you commit to dates.
